Arriving in Boston
So I arrived in Boston today after a long, long flight. Brian dropped me off at the airport at 5:45 and my plane was supposed to leave at 6:24. When I got in line to check in, I saw a HUGE line of students that were going someplace. Luckily, a United agent came to the back of the line to help people who weren't part of the large student crowd.
My plane ride over there was uneventful, except for a conversation that went on behind and to the right of me. A girl who was going to Girls Nation started a conversation the person next to her, a professor at Georgetown Law school. I wish I had sat in that seat. Eavesdropping, I was entertained listening to a high school senior discuss trade issues, abortion, and gay marriage with this obviously liberal professor. I hope he influenced this Mormon girl in some way.
After a stopover in Denver, I arrived in Boston at 3pm. As I was getting my baggage, I was approached by a woman who identified herself as a television reporter. I was interviewed on the spot and she asked me questions like, "So have you heard about the protests planned? What do you think about the picket lines? Are you going to have fun?" Then they shot some B-roll of me walking out of the airport.
I met Arlyn Bradshaw near the taxi cabs and we got into the same taxi. We arrived at the Boston Marriott Cambridge and met Megan there. She had been waiting for 2 hours for us. She's so nice. And sweet. And cute.
We went up to the hotel room, I unpacked, we went out to eat, went back to the hotel room, Arlyn took a nap, and Megan and I went to Harvard to tour.
Harvard was boring. I forgot my map that Brian got me, so we just walked around. I don't think I'm going to apply there for law school.
I'm now in the hotel room and Arlyn and Megan and I are talking about what to do tonight. I hope we do something fun.
