Sunday in Boston

I awoke with no headache! I guess I hold my alcohol well.

Today is HOMOSEXUALS IN BOSTON day. Almost everything I did today involved gays, lesbians, trannies, or people like Megan who enjoy being around them (well, not trannies).

Gay Agenda for July 25, 2004

6am-10am: Sleep in because of partying last night

11am-12:30am: Democratic GAIN Training. Megan was there and was supposed to get tickets for a huge party tonight with President Clinton. You had to be in a autotorium to get them, but she left early. I didn't get there in time so I didn't get a ticket either.... :(

1pm-4pm: Go on the Victory Fund Cruise to Victory! Guests include Sen. Jarrett Barrios (state Senator from Massachusetts) and some other people I don't remember. It was a $100 a ticket event, but I know the executive director and asked if I could volunteer for it. It was fun (we got free drinks! I had like 4 Armaretto Sours) and I enjoyed being on a cruise. Megan was mad at me because I forgot the camera. We met a fellow volunteer who had been with his party for like 12 years! He was so cute. I can't wait to be with Brian for that long. I'll be the envy of all the gays.

4pm-5pm: Attend a National Stonewall Democrats Party. No free drinks here, but Rep. Barney Frank was there. I didn't meet him (nor did I want to). It wasn't as fun as the cruise, but most of the same people were there.

5pm-7pm: Attend the Utah Welcoming Delegation Party. Every delegation had a party specifically for them (states shared parties so we had Puerto Rico with us). It was mexican themed, but it wasn't as fun as the gay events. Megan and I sat with Mike Picardi and his partner Troy.

8pm-9pm: Matthew Shepard Foundation Event. We got there while Governor Howard Dean of Vermont was speaking, but we didn't get to meet him. Arlyn stayed while Megan, Emily and I went out to eat.

Since we didn't get tickets to the party that night, Megan and I went to our respective hotels. Emily went to the party and actually got it because Arlyn was there. I watched the coverage on TV and was jealous.
