Dina Blaes endorsed by Salt Lake Tribune

Finally! I've been waiting for weeks for the Tribune to do this. Dina Blaes is running for the Salt Lake County Council and Democrats have a great chance of picking up this seat. My friend Megan is her campaign manager and I'm really excited for her and Dina. I've spent the last week helping Megan with some Excel data and had fun doing it. Megan is doing a fantastic job and I really want to see her win (If Dina wins, Megan wins too). I'll enjoy being with her on election night and seeing Dina win. It's going to be awesome.

By the way, Dina's opponent is a guy named Mark Crockett. He's a nice guy (sometimes), kinda weird, has SSA (hehe) , and isn't the best candidate for District 4. Dina is SO nice, weird in a good way, married, and is the best candidate for District 4. Whenever I'm in her campaign office doing anything, I always have more (quantity, not quality) fun when Dina is there. (I still have lots of fun with Megan <-- she'd get mad if I didn't write this).

O'Reilly Settles Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

This is really sad. Bill O'Reilly is one of my favorite talk show commentators and I enjoy watching him on TV or listening to him on the radio. Although he's conservative, he's more independent than people think he is. Anyway, he was hit with a sexual harrassment lawsuit alleging he had conversations of sexual nature with his producer. He denied this and filed a counter lawsuit. I was really hoping he would fight this, but he backed down because of his family. I understand why he settled, but I wish he fought this crazy lady.

Child to 911 dispatcher: 'My daddy killed me with a butcher knife'

Adam Bass sent me this link. It's weird and sad at the same time. I hope CNN keeps covering the story.

Former GOP Sen. Bob Smith endorses Kerry

Kos has this on his website and writes, "Bob Smith of New Hampshire lived at the far right of the GOP. He even left the Republican Party at one point because he considered it too moderate. In fact, he was one of those guys who waved around plastic fetuses whenever abortion was debated. But in 2004, this hard right winger is endorsing Kerry." Kerry is SO going to win!!
