Sundance Film Festival

Our friend Scott invited us to stay in his Park City Condo on Saturday night. The Sundance Film Festival is going on right now, so we thought we might go see a movie and stay in his condo. While that was the plan, it didn't quite work out that way.

On Saturday night, we were going to go see a movie. Well, I got us lost and got everyone mad (well, except Brian and Nathan). We ended up just going back to the condo, eating dinner, and playing Phase 10 and Cranium. I had a good time that night, but Will and Scott were not (Will was being mean and Scott was being quiet).

As we were getting ready for bed, we started playing "Truth or Dare" like teenagers. I had to put my bum on the snow outside and Nathan had to put his weiner in the snow. It was really-- there are pictures in the Sundance 2005 gallery.

The next morning, Brian and I saw a film at 8:30am called "Shake Hands with the Devil: The Journey of Roméo Dallaire." It's a film about the Rwandan Genocide that killed 800,000 in 100 days and the head of the UN peacekeeping troops there. The General was there and it was interesting to see and hear his story. I'm currently reading his book--that's why I was so interested in seeing the film.

We also had Nathan take this cute picture of Brian and I. I'm going to frame it and give it to Brian for Valentine's day.
