Tofu, Hope Woodside, Dessert, and the Governor

Since Brian is out of town, he couldn't make me dinner so I accepted an offer by Megan to go to the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ) annual dinner where free food was to be served. (I love food, especially when it is free). I wore a blue shirt with my cute pink tie and I looked good!

The dinner I expected to be steak, salmon, or chicken turned out to be meatless--the organizers pushed their beliefs on us and served tofu. TOFU! It was so gross. I tasted it but I couldn't take more than one bite. I took a picture to show how discusting it looked.

Look at me and Hope Woodside!! She's the 9pm anchor for Fox13 news and is my favorite anchor. I acted like a dork in front of her, saying, "Ms. Woodside, can I get a picture...um...um...you are my favorite anchor....um...um...good luck tonight on your....um....umm....newscast." If I were straight, I would date her.

After I met Hope Woodside, the evening went downhill. The dessert, like dinner, was crappy so I decided to have some fun. Senator Julander was at our table and was laughing at me because I was being silly. Here's a picture of what I did with my dessert.

And what night would be complete without a picture with Governor Jon Huntsman? When he runs for President, I will frame this. Isn't he a hot governor??
