2 Years Strong

Today was International Women's Day....

but it was also my two year anniversary of being with Brian. I sometimes can't believe that I've been with someone for so long, but the I remember how wonderful my relationship with him is. He's the best boyfriend ever and I'm so glad I caught him rather than someone else. I love him so much and appreciate everything he's done for me and how he's helped made me the man I am today. I know I am a different person from two years ago, a better person because of the man I date. I could write pages and pages about how lucky I am because Brian Jay Nicholls is in my life.

Brian was in charge of our Anniversary this year, so he made the plans. After I got off work, I walked to my car and found a CD with Mission Impossible music on it and Brian saying that I was going on a treasure hunt. The clues took me to the Taylorsville Game Crazy, the Rose Wagner Theatre at the University of Utah, and Liberty park. It was funny because the CD's that Brian recorded his voice on would not work in my car. Andrew wasn't born when CD burning was wildly available so he doesn't handle them well (if at all).

The treasure hunt led me home where some clothes were set out and ironed for me and I met Brian at PF Changs for dinner. He's such an amazing man. After dinner, we went home and exchanged gifts. He got me the American Flag poster and the candle holder. He was sick of the cheaply made American flag that hung above our table and decided to get a nice one.

Since I'm poor, I couldn't afford to buy Brian anything so I wrote him a love letter. I hope he liked it because it was written from my heart.

Then we went to bed....
