Random Thoughts

I like pictures on my blog but in recent days I haven't had any to put here, so I decided to write about my food storage, pictured below. One the first row, there's Hamburger Helper, Ramon noodles, and some pasta. The second row has many cans of corn, green beans, and a jar of peanut butter. The last row has ziplock bags (for putting ground beef and chicken into), macaroni and cheese, cereal, Chunky soup, and 4 cans of evaporated milk. I think I learned about food storage from Grandma Nix, who has a room that is full of food. When people come over to our house and see this, I tell them that when the Millennium comes, they can come over to our home and have corn.

So I hate money: it frustrates me and makes me mad. Since Brian works 50 hours a week at better pay than my 30 hours a week do, he's pulling our household weight. I feel like a failure whenever Brian brings the subject up and wish I could do more. My last couple of paychecks have amounted to about $900 a month. So lets see where the money goes:
  • Rent: $350
  • Car Loan: $150
  • Car Insurance: $80
  • Car Gas: $100
  • Phone: $50
  • Food: $75
  • Gym: $40
And that leaves me with $55 to cover electricity, TV, and gas which isn't enough and why Brian gets mad everytime we talk about money. I wish he would realize that I want to help more and if I had more money I would give it all to him. I don't have any money to do fun things, which is the reason I haven't taken Brian on any dates where I have to spend money. I also want to start investing and building a stock portfolio, but I have no money to do it. The imaginary $10,000 that I invested for my financial class was up almost 17%, but now my gains are hovering around 4%. Oh well.
