Pet Peeve
As I'm going my outbound dials, I've discovered a new pet peeve of mine (well, not new but it annoys me enough that I have to write about it). I've called many people who answer the phone, then tell me they are busy and don't have time to talk. One person was in the middle of a conference call, another was at the mechanics shop. My question to these people is: If you are so busy you can't talk, why are you picking up your phone? I'll leave a message for you and you can call me back.
People annoy me.

at least you can leave them messages! because we don't have a toll-free number we can't have customers call us back.
on avg, i make about 75 calls in a 4 hr shift (that's hand-dial, mind you). it's a good night if i get 25, or a third, of those to answer and complete the survey.
