Customer Complaint
I got a call today from a guy named Eric who would not give me any more information than that because he wanted to remain anonymous. He told me he wanted to lodge a complaint about an Intel conference he had just attended.
At every Intel Channel Conference, we raffle off prizes. If your ticket is called out, you get to pick a number out of a jar that corresponds to a prize. There are only a few prizes, so only a few people are called.
Eric said that he was very excited when his name was called out, but disappointed in the prize--a $150 NIC card. He said it was unfair that the large companies got the nice prizes and he got a smaller prize. He also told me that he thought the raffle was rigged. Eventually, he told me that he wanted a redo.
I almost laughed (but didn't) and told him that we had to treat everyone fairly. I told him that it was unfortunate that he didn't like the prize he won, but lots of attendees to the conference didn't win a prize. Eric didn't like my answer and said he would switch to AMD.
After the call, one of my co-workers told me that he had talked to this guy. You would think adults would just say "better luck next time" to themselves, but not all adults act like adults.

I know this may come as a shock to you, but I feel it's time to come out of the closet. I'm also an AMD user. Will you still be my friend?
