Destiny and Communitarianism

The senior seminar I'm taking this summer is a class on Communitarianism taught by Dr. Luke Garrott. I'm taking the class to get a letter of recommendation from him, but I just looked at the syllabus today and it looks really interesting. Also, my friend Anne says he's an awesome professor and I'm excited for class discussions.

I usually order my school books from Amazon and started searching for the required books for his course. When I added one to my wishlist, I got the error message, "You specified one or more items that were already on your list." It turns out that I had put one of my textbooks on my wishlist on March 23, 2003!

On another note: I was going to take a night class this summer, but I'm scrapping that idea because...well, it sucks. Even though classes started last week, I'm going to see if I can start a communication class tomorrow (my senior seminar doesn't start until June 21st). That way, I won't go insane with homework because communication classes are usually easier than political science classes.

One last note: I got my grades for last semester and filed for tuition reimbursement today. My grades were awful. It was the worst semester at the University of Utah: All B's! I attribute my low grades to my lackadaisical work ethic and senioritis. This summer, I'm going to redeem myself and get A's.
