Fake Teeth and Worcestershire Sauce

This afternoon I did another interview with my grandmother. Although we talked about her childhood and growing up since 1926, that wasn't the funniest part.

At the beginning of every interview, I tell her that she can say anything she wants or do anything she wants because this is about her. She took this to heart and said to me, "I thought of something that I could do for the camera that would by funny." Then she proceeded to take her teeth out and "pull" faces for the camera.

When she did it, I knew immediately that the value of the tape was priceless. Not many people have video of their grandmother's taking their teeth out and making fun of themselves. She has a great sense of humor and knows, like I do, the value of this tape.

I can't wait to go next week. I'm really enjoying these special moments that I'm sharing with her.

After the interview, I went to my Aunt Wendy's house because she had a "thank-you" barbecue for everyone who helped build her playground (basically all my friends). I had the pleasure of cooking for everyone because Brian, unfortunately, had to work because he's currently short staffed. I think everyone had fun and I especially had a great time getting sprayed with the hose by Quinn. I really like playing with kids because I am just a kid at heart and always will be.
