If you see me, say "Hello!"
Tonight, I met a fan. The Young Democrats of Utah (you may recall that I am the treasurer) had a fundraiser at Kilby Court, a place where local bands can play. I was standing near my cash box when a woman came up to me and said, "I read your blog!"
At first, I thought Megan had put her up to it, but Megan denied that she said anything.
One secret that I do not tell anyone (which will now be shared with the world) is that I would love to be famous. It would be so cool to walk down the street and have people recognize you or have people want to take their picture with you. I would sign anything or talk to anyone that wanted to talk to me. Being famous would also imply some sort of financial success, so I would be able to give money to so many great causes. It would be fun to surprise some less fortunate person with something they need delivered by a famous person. The stereotype of famous people is that they act better than everyone else; I know I wouldn't be like that and it would be fun to shock people with that fact.
Although my "fame" is limited, I thought it was really cool to be recognized tonight.
So I dedicate this post to Sheryl, the "Jewish Mother", my first "fan."

Oh, holy crap! We are NEVER going to hear the end of this, are we?
And please, we all know that you want to be famous.
Remember, blogs give megalomaniacs a forum for their psychosis!
