Moving, Barbecuing, and Clubbing

One of my least favorite things in the world is moving--I think that is why I immensely respect anyone who does it for a living. Boxes are heavy, expensive things are usually dropped, and stairs are always involved! This morning, with a smile and a glad heart, I helped Megan move to a bigger (and much nicer) apartment and I actually enjoyed it. Yes, you heard me right, I enjoyed moving Megan's stuff. It's probably because fun people were there and everyone was in a great mood.

And I must say Brian is the best boyfriend ever! He hates moving but came out to help Megan because he's such a nice guy.

Probably the funniest part of the day was when I tried to close my flip-phone in a cool way. Megan, who always thinks she does things better than anyone else (and usually is right), tried to show me the "right way" of closing a flip-phone in a cool way and ended up throwing her very expensive phone on the concrete sidewalk. It was so funny!

Tonight was supposed to be my aunt Jeanette's wedding, but the judge won't grant her a divorce from her previous husband so they just made tonight a barbecue. There were lots of people there including another gay man! I had to take a double take when I saw this flamboyant guy in pink (who wasn't me!) taking a look at me too. He was part of Jeanette's fiance's family as were many people there and I was intrigued that another "family" member was gay. I guess it felt cool to not be the only gay man at a family event.

When I asked my Aunt Wendy if I thought he was gay, she said, "You're asking me???" After her puzzled look and a glance at the gentleman in question, she said, "Probably. And Jesse, I just want to thank you for not being, um....., so um......., flamboyant." I honestly didn't know how to take that "compliment."

At the family event, I tried to get a picture of all the family members that were there, but unfortunatly no one wanted to take it. Kids were running away and stubborn uncles told me no when I asked them to come be in the picture. It really annoyed me and made me frustrated because family pictures are nice to have. I really wanted to kick some people tonight.

My sister Amy, my niece Carly, and me.

My cousin Stephanie.

Austin and Erica. I really like this picture.

All 9 of my Aunts and my grandparents.

After the family barbecue, I went clubbing with Megan, Shawn, and Nathan. It wasn't the most fun I've had at a club before, but I did see my exboyfriend Tanner there. Oh, and Shawn bit me. Yes, bit me! It was really weird.
