Emulating a Desperate Housewife

If you don't know who Bree Van De Kamp is, you should get to know her. She is one of the main characters on ABC's Desperate Housewives, a show that I've been watching at work on Brian's PSP and have become addicted to.

I envy Bree for the kind of housewife she is because I want to be exactly like her! Her house is perfectly clean, she has a perfect garden, she bakes delicious food, always looks great, is a member of high society, and hosts fantastic dinner parties. Oh, to be Bree would be, well, perfect!

If you know Mrs. Van De Kamp and are thinking that I don't resemble her at all, you are also correct. I'm more laid back and not as anal retentive, and I will never be.

Tonight, I emulated Bree in almost every way possible.

When Brian came home, he entered a house filled with the smell of shepherd's pie, lit only by candlelight. I kissed him in the doorway and led him to the table to eat dinner. We talked about work and other stuff, then I took him to the bedroom which had candles all around the bed.

I really like treating Brian this way because he's so wonderful. I want to make him feel appreciated and treat him just like Bree Van De Kamp would (but less anal about it all).
