Mormons and Karaoke

I went to Mormon church this morning and had a great time. I actually like going with my family to Mormon church because it reminds me of growing up. Additionally, I took Megan's advice and took the sacrament. Even though I'm no longer Mormon, they are still Christian and sacrament is a Christian act. Since I'm Christian, there is no reason that I shouldn't partake in the sacrament... although I think my Mom was weirded out when I took it. I just hate not taking it because that is an admission of how you are sinning.

Russell and I came home early (there is no way we were going to go to 3 hours of church) and watched Revelations, an NBC mini-series.

I also played the piano most of the day and now I want a piano in my apartment. I love playing it and I am so good at it! Erik had a Ben's Fold book and I learned to play some of his songs.

We also had a Karaoke party in the middle of the day that ended with my whole family singing, "Wind Beneath my Wings." I taped the whole affair and I will post the video later because it's a sight to see.

For dinner, we had my favorite Sunday meal: roast and mashed potatoes. When we were growing up, there was a time that we had that every Sunday for about 2 years. I was in heaven!
