Brotherly Love
Brian woke me up at 9AM to make me help him do laundry. I was so tired but the dictator told me to get out of bed. I started singing oppression songs to make Brian realize that it was too early on a Saturday morning to wake up.
Russell slept over and was supposed to go home today, but Brian was running late and couldn't make a stop in Provo before he went to work. It was actually good because Russell and I got to spend the day together. Since I hadn't mowed Wendy's lawn yet, we went over there and Russell ended up mowing the lawn (yay!). I edged the lawn (which took as much time as Russell mowing) and we finished just in time for the steaks that Aunt Wendy had made us.
We were only going to stay for an hour after arriving at 2pm, but because of a technical malfunction with the weed-whacker (it took us an hour to figure out how to put new string in the thing), we ended up leaving at 6pm. I still had fun though.
Megan called and invited us to see a movie at the dollar theater. When we got to her house, there was some leftover vodka from the other night that caught my eye. Since we were going to be seeing Herbie, a movie with Lindsay Lohan, I told myself it was okay to drink. Someone else joined me by taking 3 shots. Scott Lowe arrived shortly after I had 2 shots.
We arrived late to the movies in Sandy and consequently it was sold out, so we went to the dollar theater in Sugarhouse to see Madagascar. The movie was really weird and I don't think I liked it. They tried to put in lots of adult jokes (some of which only Russell and I got) but it just didn't work.
I was so tired when I got home (like 11pm) that I went straight to bed. Russell stayed up to write a talk that he's giving tomorrow.
