My Analog Journal
About three weeks ago, I was listening to NPR's coverage of Katrina and heard a story about a woman in Mississippi. After she spoke about the destruction of her home and her city, she started crying. She said that her husband had kept a daily journal since he was in high school and now all those journals are lost. "My home and city can be replaced, but not those journals," she said.
If those journals had been digitized and uploaded somewhere, her husband would still have them.
I've been thinking about digitizing all of my journals for awhile and today I started this semi-large project. I'm actually doing it in blogger so they will be easily searchable and accessible. Once I'm done, you'll be able to know what I thought of you when I knew you in high school. ;)
