Only when playing video games
To celebrate Brian's birthday, we invited people over to play Halo tonight. It wasn't as big of a group as I wanted since my cousins couldn't come because they had homecoming. The people that showed up were my brother Russell, Scott Lowe, Ben from the Rose Park Gamecrazy, Keith and Eric. We played a few rounds and had a good time.
One bad thing about playing Halo with Brian is that we both get very competitive--actually, I think we get too competitive. It's probably a consequence of being gay: we're both highly competitive males, even with each other. Everytime I shot Brian and killed him, I was immensely satisfied. Everytime he killed me, I became angry and upset. If I had a choice to kill someone in the game, I would always choose Brian.
Scott, who was such a good sport and played with us all night, said that my obsessiveness with ending Brian's life was really weird.
