Seasons of Love
I finally amassed the courage to talk to my professor. I never really get to know my professors because I don't have anything to talk to them about. Then, when I need a letter of recommendation, I'm screwed because none of my professors know me. If I could give advice to anyone entering college (or in college), it would be to get to know your professors.
Anyway, I talked with Professor Lehman and told him how I needed a letter of recommendation to study abroad. He said he'd be more than happy to do it and told me he's glad I'm coming to him now. I guess he had a student email him yesterday asking him for a letter of recommendation, but he doesn't remember "who the hell" the student is because it's been 2 years.
As we walked toward the bookstore, I told him I was interested in his travels abroad. He told me that he traveled all through Africa and Europe for 6 months after graduate school and recommended doing that to anyone.
I had lunch with Megan. We had a good time.
After going to work, I went to the gym to work out with Scott and Brian. I had a lot of fun not only working out, but spending time with them. Working out makes me feel so good and makes me happy. I don't know why I don't go more often, especially with my breast problem...
When we got home, Brian made his chicken and cheesy rice for dinner. It was yummy.
Megan also had an interview with James Evans on KCPW. I listened to the podcast and was a little disappointed. Even though they are from different political parties, they both sounded mean and petty. When James whined and complained like a child, Megan would rudely laugh. I didn't like how either of them came across as sounding.
Confidential to Brian: Thanks for being such a stud. I love you so much!
