The steak helped the movie theatre become haunted
Usually, weekends allow me to sleep in until noon, combine breakfast and lunch at the same time, and be lazy.
This morning, Brian and I woke up at 8AM. We couldn't fall back asleep, so we watched the season finale of Stargate Atlantis in bed until 10AM. It was so fun! It reminded me of when I used to do that with my roommate Joey (not the bed part though).
We finally got out of bed to eat breakfast. We also played Warcraft III for 2 hours until Brian had to get ready to leave to do stuff for his new job.
While he was gone, I finally finished my first DVD! I'm so excited because I was able to learn Adobe Encore by actually using the program. The DVD looks okay--I just wish I were a better creative designer and could make really cool DVD's.
Brian and I went up to see his parents at Denny and Mary's house; they're friends of Brian's parents. We ate steak and corn on the cob. I thought the corn was so good that I had 4 halfs (more than anyone until we realized that there were more).
On the way home, we were stuck in traffic so it took us an hour to get back to Salt Lake. I wanted to do something, so we met Megan and Scott at Century 16 to see The Corpse Bride. Unfortunately, I was so tired that I fell asleep. I hate doing that! It makes me not like the movie whether or not it was a good one!
The best part was checking out a boy in a yellow polo with his collar up. Scott thought he was cute, and embarrassing Scott is oh-so fun! In the theatre, I said loudly, "I love yellow! Especially shirts with collars up!" The guy had to know we were talking about him. Then, as we were leaving the theatre, we kept making comments. It's kinda fun having Scott single because when I check out boys, I do it for Scott to show him opportunities for "love."
