The Joy of Non-Single Life

Russell and I woke up late and watched "Next" on MTV in our underwear. They describe it like this: "Ever wish you could bail in the middle of a bad date? NEXT is the MTV show that lets you do just that. We'll set you up on 5 dates. The minute you get annoyed, just say "NEXT.""

The first episode we watched involved gay guys. Russell and I discussed how shallow most gay people are and I told Russell that's the reason I don't have many gay friends. I also told Russell that this dating show was dumb for gays because anyone on the bus could just hook up--and I was right!!

After that episode, I told Russell that they should show lesbians on the show. Russell's wish was granted and the lesbians appeared. They were catty and mean. Then the straight people had an episode and typified straight behavior.

Once our "Next" marathon was over, Russell and I discussed how dating sucks and how we're both glad we have someone.

Russell also helped me cut my hair!
