Christmas Eve

Dad asked Russell and I to help him shovel snow and ice off the driveway. It was actually fun seeing as how I never do that in Utah.

I have the Christmas spirit!

Dad made Russell change a tire because he doesn't know how. I videotaped him because it was so funny.

Cool ride.

I played "Call of Duty" today with Benjamin and his friend. I played by myself for about 2 hours before he wanted to play with me. It was actually a lot of fun and I got into it more the longer we played.

Ben and I killing each other.

Mom spent most of the day cooking in the kitchen (as a good mother should). I kinda felt badly because I wasn't helping her, but I really was enjoying being lazy. The food was amazing though! I love when my mama cooks!

Sexy Mama!

After dinner, Mom wanted everyone to play games. A couple who are getting married on Jan. 30th came over to hang out with us. My family played pictionary for awhile our guests just watched. When we finished playing, the guy started playing Spanish songs on the guitar. We spent about 20 minutes being crazy and playing "Féliz Navidad" and "I want to wish you a Merry Christmas" with lots of noisemakers. I videotaped it and will put it on here when I get home.

Serious Erik.

We have a tradition of opening a present on Christmas Eve, but tonight Dad and Ben were so tired that they went to bed early. It was about 12:30am when Russell, Mom, and I went to open presents. I told my parents that I mainly wanted them to pay for my plane ticket so there were no presents under the tree for me. Russell, Erik, and Ben had lots and lots of them. It became a running joke because Mom gave me one of Russell's presents to open as my own.

Notice the tag on the present. It's not for me...

What a nice collection of family photos. Make sure you save them for treasuring decades from now.

I'm wondering: Did you wish Brian was in New York with you?

Hey, I thought "Feliz Navidad" meant "Happy Birthday"! ;)

I came looking specifically for your mother's Feliz Navidad dance, tassles and all, I was sorely disappointed to find you'd excluded those pictures.
