Feliz Navidad! Prospero año y Felicidad!

Tonight, I tried to be as Bree Van De Camp as possible. I made dinner and dessert before my guests came, I put candles all over the house, and I lighted some scented oil so the apartment would smell pleasant.

I invited my closest friends because I only wanted to host a small gathering of people. I like large parties, but I wanted an intimate setting tonight.

When Chris Hathaway arrived, he commented that the atmosphere was very romantic. When I reacted by saying that candles provide nice atmosphere, his wife Naomi said, "Chris only lights candles when he wants to be romantic." Straight boys--you gotta love 'em.

I made a schedule for the party. Appetizers (which consisted of chips and salsa) from 7:00pm to 7:30pm, dinner from 7:30pm to 8:00pm, games from 8:00pm to 9:30pm, and dessert from 9:30 to 10:00pm. While I fell behind, I thought tonight was very successful.

Naomi helped me cut tomatoes because I forgot. When Chris picked up the cutting board, it broke into two pieces. I thought it was quite funny.

Eating Tacos and Burritos.

Scott being weird. He's single boys!

For Brian's birthday, Scott game him an ice shaver. Last night, I told Scott that I read online that in a survey, ice shavers are the #1 most useless Christmas gifts. He became offended so he thought he'd be funny. This picture was taken as we opened his gift.

It turned out that Scott had bought us a food massager, the #2 item on the list of the most useless Christmas gifts. Not only was it a bad gift, the massager was a cat with nipples on its back. It's probably the funniest gift I've ever received.

Chris, Russell, Me, Naomi, Megan, Brian, Shawn, Scott, and Horatio!
