I'm a big kid now!
Megan brought Mckenna over this morning because she had a meeting. I was more than happy to babysit and even gave Megan my special babysitting discount--Free!
Mckenna was really cute when we had breakfast. I told her that we had every kind of cereal and asked what kind she wanted.
"Chocolate!" she exclaimed.
"Um, anything but chocolate," I said. Chocolate cereal is disgusting. When I gave her other options, she chose Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
I handed her the box and a bowl.
"My mom pours cereal for me."
She is six years old for goodness sakes! She should be pouring her own cereal.
"Well," I said in a funny way, "I'm not your mom!" Mckenna made a funny face and poured her own cereal. Then I handed her the almost empty gallon of milk.
"My mom pours milk for me."
"Well I'm not your mom!" I said with a smile. Mckenna poured her own milk like a big girl and we enjoyed our breakfast.
After breakfast, she helped me clean up and even asked if there was anything else she could help with. I gave her some wipes and told her to wipe down every doorknob. She's such a great helper! Megan is so lucky!
When we were done cleaning, Mckenna asked if she could take pictures with our camera. I told her she could and she took this really cool one:
