My "Perfect" Life
This evening, Mom and I went to Wal*Mart. She buys food every week for a poor black family in her church. After buying the food, I was able to go with her to deliver it. Whenever I see poverty, I'm always appreciative of everything I have. I'm really one of the luckiest guys in the world. Yeah, I wish my life was better in many ways, but I have it pretty good. Many would say I have a perfect life--parents who have loved each other for over 22 years, brothers that I'm close to, an incredible boyfriend, a close extended family, great friends, nice clothes, a nice home, cool electronics, financial stability, intelligence, a college degree, and potential to do great things in the future.
I do have a perfect life and I need to realize it more often.
