A slightly busy day

It's so nice to sleep in until you naturally wake up.

I walked downstairs to find Mom working on Christmas cards. She's the Relief Society President (Women's group) in her ward and is sending cards to the less active ladies. My mother is a great president and works hard to make sure people feel included.

Mom needed to run some errands. Similar to Brian, my mother has an unhealthy addiction to Diet Coke. She stopped at a gas station to get one but they were out of cups. She took it upon herself to look in the cabinets below the fountain to find some. She's truly an independent woman.

We made a deposit at the bank and stopped at a shoe store. Those two little trips were a bit exhausting with her because she's so...how do you say it... uncontrollable? She does what she wants. I really can't explain it, but she can is enjoyable to be around and exhausting at the same time.

For dinner, we stopped at a pizza place and met my brother Erik there. Then we went to Wegman's (a local grocery store) to rent a movie.

Instead of watching a movie, I played "Call of Duty 2" on the Xbox 360 with Benjamin until 1am.
