A trip to the mall
We went to the mall again today. On the way there, my mother kept fidgeting with some paper in the air-conditioning vents in the car. It took me a few seconds to figure out what she was doing. The paper in the vents were cologne ads from magazines and Mom was making a cheap car air-freshener.
My mother is very resourceful.
At the mall, we made a few Christmas returns. Benjamin returned the very cool track jacket I got him at Aeropostale. It's original price was $44 but I bought it onsale for $5. I was kinda mad when he exchanged it for a sweater that was $15.
I did, however, get Ben to give me a kiss on the cheek in the mall. He was really embarrassed until Russell did it.
As we were walking out of the mall, Mom noticed that the seat where Santa usually takes his pictures with children was empty. It was a cute set, so Mom told us we should take a picture. The area was fenced off, so Ben walked away saying, "I'm not going to get in trouble." Russell, Mom, and I hopped over the barrier and had Jennie take our picture.
Tonight, we played Russell's Betrayal game again. I ended up being the traitor again and actually won the game! It was really fun (as most games are when you win). Dad even played with us this time and Dad NEVER plays board games because he thinks they are boring. I think he had a good time (which is good because I love when he plays with us).
