Old Ruins and New (estar) Ruins

I slept in today until 8am. Yeah, that doesn't sound late, but to me it was. Mamá graciously took us to the bus station that was going to take us to the ancient city of Xochicalco. We met Andrew, Carla, and Logan there and rode the bus to the ruins.

The weather was all sun and I had a great time exploring. I took lots of pictures.

After about 3 hours, we we done and got a taxi back to a bus station. From there, we caught a bus that dropped us off in the Xocalo in Cuernavaca. (More pictures here.)

We alked around before deciding that we should go to a movie. Unfortunatly, the movies that were at the zocalo were dumb. We still wanted to see a movie, so we took a taxi to the Galleria mall.

All I can say is "WOW!" It's probably the nicest mall I've ever been to in my whole life. I joked to my friends that this is how Mexico should look like. Even the bathrooms were elegant and I took joy in flushing toilet paper down the toilet. I forgot for awhile that I lived in Mexico!

We saw Johnny and June (or as its called in the US, Walk the Line). It was really good and I sang Johnny Cash songs all the way home.

Nice farmer tan! And, uh, nice, uh, beard.

Good God I hope you don't keep that when you come back. I don't think I could be your friend anymore.

Where is cute Jesse!?
