Tepoztlan Trip
Since Mamá is gone, Austin and I had to "make" our own breakfast today. We basically ate yogurt and half of a banana each. It was fine. Austin made sandwiches for our lunch--I thought that was very nice of him.
We were going to go to Tepoztlan, which is a large mountain with a temple at the top of it. It was going to be scenic, so I went to get my nice camera (since my little one broke). For some reason, I checked to see if the memory cards (512K and 1GB) worked--and they didn't! I don't know how they broke, but I got very upset! I couldn't bring my camera!
Carla, Logan, Andrew, Austin and I took a bus to the city of Tepoztlan. We met one of Carla's Mexican friends, Oswaldo, there.
The hike up the mountain was long and steep. Okay, only 45 minutes, but it seemed long. I felt like the stupid, fat kid because I was always in the back of the group and had to rest. I tried to rest less frequently than I wanted to. The view at the top was spectacular! I could see the whole city and I was proud of us for making it. We ate lunch on the temple and stayed up there for about an hour. I felt so naked without my camera! I had to ask Andrew to take pictures for me.

The hike on the way down was easier and more fun. We kinda "ran" down--it was fun because you had to choose rock after rock to step on. I made it into a game and enjoyed myself all the way down.
One cool thing about today was that it was election day (and everyone knows how much I love election day)! There were voting booths set up and it was cool to see people vote.

Austin and I got home at around 7pm and Rosita (the maid) made us (reheated) a large dinner. Usually in Mexico, dinner is small (we usually just have pan). I felt like an American with such a large dinner!
I caught a new episode of Commander-in-Chief. I was excited to see it cause I love that show! We also watched an episode of the Family Guy.
