Español en México es difícil

I went to talk to Professor Mayer today to get my grades. I’m making B’s and one C+. I was pissed and later learned that he drops grades one letter because, he says, “Mexico is a lot easier than the States, so I’m giving you the grade you’d get in the States.” I think that’s a stupid reason and will probably audit out of the grades for no credit so it won’t affect my GPA.

Mamá is out of town because she’s going to Baja California to be with her son Alonzo. At school, I invited people to come over to our house and hang out (I asked Rosy, who takes care of us when Mamá is gone, if this was okay).

Logan from Pennsylvania, Beth, and Sara Bridge came over and we played card games. I had a lot of fun because it’s exactly the kind of thing I would do in the States. I can’t wait to get back home to have game nights again!
