Me encanta comprar ropa!

Today is a Mexican holiday so there was no school! Austin and I slept in until 11am and it was so grand!

We went to the galleria mall to meet Lauren, Beth, and Sara Bridge cause we were going to go shopping.

First, we went to eat at Chile’s. I ordered the chicken crispers because they sounded really good. When I received them, the portion size was very small. In the US, the portions are grotesquely large, but here in Mexico, they are perfect.

I only go shopping for clothes once a year on my birthday because it’s the only time that I ever have extra money to spend just on clothes. Today was so much fun because I blew $2220 pesos just on clothes. There is a store here called Pull and Bear that is very Abercrombie-like. They had tons of really cute clothes that aren’t available in the US. It was fun to grab anything I wanted, try it on so the girls could tell me if I looked cute, and actually buy it if I wanted it. I’m so going to do it again. Oh! It was also really nice to wear clothes that don’t make me look fat. I tried on tight shirts and it didn’t look like I had boobs. I love working out!

After shopping, we went to see “Firewall.” I liked the movie even if it was a little unbelievable.

I had so much fun today. Sure, we had a very “American” day, but I loved it—mostly because I walked home with 4 bags of clothes.
